visualization is brightness-coded, i.e. low areas have darker colors and high areas and objects
are brighter.
Streets and blocks of buildings can be identified clearly. The
large flat strip in the middleground are the tracks of a railroad
station, the darker line at the rear of this area is an emerging
subway track.
This image is a digital surface model (DSM). But it is obvious
that this type of data is also well suited to generate digital
3D city models. |
