This image was generated using only data from an imaging laser altimeter. It combines surface geometry from laser range data and (NIR) surface reflectance from laser return signal energy. It illustrates that imaging laser altimetry is able to deliver a variety of data - not just surface elevation - required for topographic mapping and also for many other remote sensing tasks. | |||||
